NRC #11 - Art from Oil to iPad

More than 500 artworks

Unique etchings by Degas and Pissarro, an Erfmann from the estate of Gerrit Komrij, two crucifixion scenes by Toorop, colourful works by Hockney, Warhol, Haring and Lichtenstein, the oldest known 'artwork' by Jan Wolkers: a lampshade he painted during the war, and a complete niche interior designed by Gerrit Rietveld for the dental practice of G.F.M. Schutte. This is an exceptional case of a Rietveld interior preserved in its original design throughout the years, and it is now for sale at our eleventh NRC auction.
